Z20LEx Uprated Bronze valve guides
Z20LEx engine valve guides are made from cast iron which has poor wear & thermal conductivity characteristics, but also in the Z20 engines they are known to crack. These engine are not getting any younger with most engines through our doors needing replacement valve guides. With quality replacements or cost effective replacements being hard to find we had these produced.
Offering greater thermal efficiency over the cast guides & allowing a improved valve guide to seat concentricity.
These also come with a more aggressive barb on the end to help retain the valve stem oil seal which is also another common Z20 engine issue.
supplied in a set of 16, 8 inlets guides (longer) & 8 exhaust guides (shorter)
These will require professional installation & after installation need to be reamed & honed to the final size.
